Ramon Dino was, without a doubt, the most anticipated factor of the Mr. Olympia Brazil 2024.
The Acre native, who had not competed in his country since 2021, was welcomed by an ecstatic crowd, and expectations were already being generated since the athletes' conference, including with great personalities praising the Brazilian event.
The deafening screams from the audience reflected the feeling of witnessing a special moment in sport.
In the previews, the plot already seemed defined, but Ramon would not have an easy life. He faced strong competitors such as Little Book and the international athlete Niall Darwen, forming the probable top 3, both very aesthetic competitors with very thin waists.
Despite the competition, it was clear that it was no coincidence that Ramon was at the top of his category. He demonstrated incredible conditioning, with deep muscle separations, many fibers and a visibly improved back.
The “nightmare” returns
Ramon ended the comparisons at center stage, suggesting an advantage over the others. However, not everything went as planned.
Although its condition was superior to that presented at the Olympia in Las Vegas, a nightmare recently came back to haunt him: excessive sweating on stage, something that had already caused him a lot of harm, reappeared.
This time, he “melted” less than in Las Vegas, but the question remains — will it be enough to compromise his plans?
But will Ramon win?
The answer will be revealed in the competition finals, which will take place today, starting at 4 pm. Ramon, who is fighting for a spot in the 2025 Mr. Olympia, took the stage with no room for error. After his result at the 2024 Mr. Olympia, a defeat would be the worst possible scenario. Now, the race to fine-tune the details and come back better has begun.
