His career in the sport began in an unconventional way, initially standing out on social media before even competing professionally.

Breno was born on May 17, 1995, and from a young age he showed an interest in physical activities, but it was in the military environment that his dedication to physical training intensified.

During more than five years of military service, his presence on social media began to gain visibility, mainly due to the photos in which he showed off his athletic physique.

His popularity on Instagram grew rapidly, attracting followers interested in the world of fitness and bodybuilding.

His physical foundation, developed through years of military training, provided a natural transition into bodybuilding.

In 2022, after years of preparation, Breno decided to compete for the first time in the amateur show Favela Classic, in the Classic and Men's Physique categories.

His debut was remarkable. Despite the pressure of competing in a new environment, he achieved positive results, which reinforced his determination to pursue a career in the sport.

rise in bodybuilding

The year 2023 was a turning point in Lieutenant Breno's career. He began his quest for the much-desired Pro Card, a title that grants the status of a professional bodybuilding athlete.

His first major victory came at the Pantanal Contest, where he was overall champion in the Classic Physique category, winning the competition's most important trophy.

With this triumph, Breno began to be accompanied by two important names in his preparation: Stefan Kienzl, his coach, and Johann Schatz, his trainer.

The journey to the Pro Card took Lieutenant Breno to Spain, where he competed in the Amateur Olympia. At that competition, he placed first in his weight class, but fell just short of the podium in the Overall.

Although he did not achieve the expected result, his performance was enough to consolidate his position among the best amateur athletes in the competition.

The next challenge came in Portugal, at the Olympia Amateur held in July 2023.

On that occasion, Breno won third place in the Overall and finally secured the long-awaited Pro Card, achieving Pro athlete status.

Lieutenant Breno in 2024: heading to Mr. Olympia

In 2024, he achieved another important feat: victory at the Florida Pro, which guaranteed him a place at Mr. Olympia 2024, consolidating his position among the main bodybuilding athletes in Brazil.

As this is the first time that Lieutenant Breno has participated in an event of this magnitude, the expectations of critics and experts regarding immediate results are moderate.

Breno's experience, although promising, is still limited compared to the category's veterans, who have years of high-level competitions under their belts.

However, the evolution of his muscles and definition is evident, and many believe that, with time and continuity in the sport, he will be able to consolidate himself and gain prominence in the Classic Physique category.
